This Sunday, children stepped into the space where art is born — Hangar 2 of Autostrada Biennale. There, where wood, metal, and textiles come to life, they witnessed firsthand how an idea can be transformed into a work of art.
Our production team guided them step by step, introducing them to the machines, materials, and the working process behind every creation. The children discovered that art is not only the final result, but also a long journey filled with effort, care, and plenty of imagination.
They also learned about recycling — how a piece of metal or a fragment of textile can be reborn as part of an artwork. In the textile workshop, led by Pezull, they saw how simple threads are transformed into new products, experiencing up close the power of creation and reuse.
Afterwards, the children visited the exhibitions of the 5th edition of Autostrada Biennale in the ITP Prizren spaces. With bright eyes and endless questions, they sought to understand not only what they were seeing, but also how it was made.
This journey showed that art education is much more than a visit — it is a process where children learn to look behind the scenes, to value the work, and to discover that every material holds the potential to be transformed into something new.
