A special evening at St James’s Palace

His Majesty King Charles III welcomed creative leaders from across the Western Balkans and the UK, joined by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, ahead of the Western Balkans Leaders’ Summit 2025, part of the Berlin Process.

The gathering celebrated the power of art and culture to connect, inspire, and shape progress in the region — highlighting creative initiatives that are transforming the Western Balkans today. Standing among inspiring cultural platforms from the region, Autostrada Biennale proudly represented Kosovo — a platform that continues to turn art into dialogue, learning, and collaboration, strengthening Kosovo’s voice in the international cultural landscape.

Warm thanks to the British Council for bringing us together.

The Co-Founding Directors of Autostrada Biennale also had the honour of meeting Brian Eno @brianeno and the Hard Art team at their studio. It was an open and inspiring exchange about creativity and its role in connecting people and ideas. We are deeply grateful for his generosity and for the gift of his latest book, What Art Does: An Unfinished Theory.

Special thanks to @lovessega for making this memorable encounter possible.

The visits to Tate Modern, the British Museum, the Serpentine Gallery, and other cultural institutions in London further emphasized the vital role of art in fostering dialogue, understanding, and connection across borders. Autostrada Biennale remains committed to strengthening artistic collaboration and cultural exchange between the United Kingdom and Kosovo.
