The new Allianz Foundation is launched and we are proud to be part of it!
Allianz Kulturstiftung and Allianz Umweltstiftung are joining forces to better fulfill their mission: enabling better living conditions for the next generations.
Across Europe, people and organizations are courageously moving ahead in their commitment to open, resilient societies and climate justice. The Allianz Foundation’s mission is to understand, encourage and accompany them along this journey.
Autostrada Biennale is a member of the European Cultural Hubs Network of Allianz Foundation.
Multi-year structural funding from Allianz Foundation will enable Autostrada Biennale to grow as an institution and develop its public program in Autostrada Hangar. At the same time, we will cooperate with other partner hubs across borders such as Studio Rizoma in Palermo and Postane in Istanbul through staff exchanges, multilateral residencies, jointly funded projects and co-curated programs.
"Our aim is to grow a sustainable cultural network with values of open and diverse societies where there are no borders and inequalities, to collaborate, exchange, and produce knowledge and art together. By joining forces with Allianz Foundation and the partner Hubs we want to create programs that will have a greater and long-term impact on achieving our common objective, that is to build international partnerships around our artistic, ecological, social, and societal approach and preoccupations." said co-founders of Autostrada Biennale, Leutrim Fishekqiu, Vatra Abrashi and Bariş Karamuço.
