Exhibition by the Italian Institute “aDigital Perspective” where ten artists from Italy and the Balkans redefine the concept of digital art
Autostrada Biennale Hangar, Prizren
November 13 – December 19, 2025
Opening: November 13, at 19:00
Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00 – 17:00
The Italian Cultural Institute in Tirana presents in Prizren the final stop of the exhibition aDigital Perspective, an exhibition in which ten artists – six Italian and four from the participating countries – explore the contradictions and possibilities of new technologies, while using traditional and intentionally non-digital techniques.
After the euphoria sparked by NFTs and Artificial Intelligence, artists have begun to question the deeper meaning of digitalization, adopting a reflective and skeptical stance rather than an optimistic one.
This initiative, undertaken by the Italian Cultural Institutes of Belgrade, Bucharest, and Tirana, and curated by Spazio Taverna, is part of a broader cultural diplomacy project that aims to strengthen ties between Italy and the Balkan countries through contemporary art.
The exhibition offers an important opportunity to reflect on our relationship with technology — not through screens and algorithms, but through the language of painting, material, and performance. It also serves as a cultural bridge between Italy and the Balkans, reinforcing historical connections and fostering new perspectives for collaboration.
Artists: Sanja Anđelković, Federica Di Pietrantonio, Alessandro Giannì, Laureta Hajrullahu, Ledia Kostandini, Numero Cromatico, Alice Paltrinieri, Ginevra Petrozzi, Jacopo Rinaldi, Mădălina Zaharia.
The opening of the exhibition in Prizren is part of the Italia Digitale project, promoted by @iictirana and included in the @italymfa program “Capitals of Italian Creativity in the World” — a project that, through creativity and innovation, aims to present new expressive languages and movements that are transforming the cultural landscape.
