From 2024 to 2025, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting artists of the upcoming 5th edition of the Autostrada Biennale as part of our Curatorial Research Program. This ongoing process has been an incredible journey of discovery and connection.
Led by curator Erzen Shkololli, together with co-founding directors Leutrim Fishekqiu, Vatra Abrashi, Baris Karamuco, and the Autostrada Biennale team, we’ve organized visits to Prizren’s rich cultural heritage sites, explored potential venues, and engaged deeply with the local community. We’ve also introduced the artists to the Autostrada Hangar, the center for contemporary art, and all the facilities we offer. Visits to the ITP premises and the historic zone of Prizren have all played an important role in shaping this exciting process.
We would like to thank all the artists who participated in the program and the many others with whom we collaborate. Artists who participated in the Curatorial Research Program during this period include Hassan Khan, Laurent Marschal, Tao G. Vrhovec Sambolec, Nika Špan, Nathan Coley, Doruntina Kastrati, Vadim Fishkin, Tamara Grcic, Ayşe Erkmen, Brilant Milazimi, Anita Muçolli, and Stephanie Rizaj.
We would like to thank the partners and supporters of the Curatorial Research Program: Allianz Foundation, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the Municipality of Prizren, ITP Prizren and the Regional Center for Cultural Heritage in Prizren, and many individuals involved in this process.
We can’t wait to share all of this with you in the upcoming edition!
Stay tuned and mark your calendars for July 5 - October 5, 2025.
