Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting curator Lucia Pietroiusti in Prizren, as part of the early research phase for the 6th edition of Autostrada Biennale, opening in summer 2027.

Over several days, we moved through the city together, walking its streets, visiting heritage sites, and spending time with artists, architects, partners, researchers, cultural workers, and friends. From the Autostrada Hangar – Center for Contemporary Art and ITP Prizren, to the many layers of the city itself, this became a first way of listening to the place, the people, and what might begin to emerge.

This is only the beginning. There is still time, and many more visits, conversations, and shared moments ahead, as the biennale slowly takes shape.

We’re truly thankful to everyone who took the time to meet with us and share their thoughts, experiences, stories, and perspectives. We carry this with us.
