As part of the first curatorial research visit for the 6th edition of Autostrada Biennale, curator Lucia Pietroiusti and co-founding directors Leutrim Fishekqiu, Vatra Abrashi and Baris Karamuço were welcomed at the Mayor’s Office by the Mayor of Prizren, Shaqir Totaj, together with the Director of Culture, Ajlin Shishko Hajdari.

The meeting marked an important moment of exchange, focusing on the role of contemporary art in the city, the activation of cultural spaces and the continued collaboration between Autostrada Biennale and the Municipality of Prizren.

We appreciate the shared commitment to strengthening Prizren’s cultural landscape and developing future perspectives for the 6th edition, which will take place in the summer of 2027.

This visit forms part of the early listening and research process, building connections and conversations that will shape the upcoming biennale.
