David Fesl (b. 1995, Czech Republic) is a visual artist. He has previously had solo exhibitions at Tomio Koyama in Tokyo (2023), Lulu in Mexico City (2021), Georg Kargl in Vienna (2020) and Karlin Studios in Prague (2020). He has participated in a tandem exhibition at the Center for Contemporary Art Prague (2024, with Esther Kläs) and group projects at Lombardi-Kargl in Vienna (2022, 2024), the Brno House of Arts (2021–2022) and the National Gallery Prague (2016–2017). He contributed to the conceptual and spatial design of Lenka Vítková’s survey exhibition at Fait Gallery (2022) and the annual Contact Collection event at the Secession Pavilion (2024). He has repeatedly collaborated with the initiative Woods – Community for Cultivation, Theory and Art in the creation of art symposia. Since 2024, he has been the head of the Sculpture Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where he began serving as Vice-Rector for Quality and Development earlier this year.
