Nika Špan (b. Ljubljana 1967) is an artist based in Düsseldorf and Ljubljana. She graduated in painting and specialized in sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. As a DAAD scholarship holder, she studied at Künstakademie Düsseldorf. She works with various media, particularly installations, spatial and sound interventions. Her conceptual, performative, situational and often ephemeral works have been presented internationally.
