In 2006, artists in Mitrovica organized to create the cultural organization 7 Arte. Since its founding, 7 Arte has stayed committed to supporting young artists, as well as promoting and empowering the local cultural scene. In addition to cultural programs, study visits, and exchange, 7 Arte has offered professional experiences for many Kosovar artists. Recently, they opened a contemporary art gallery, Shtatë, which represents their commitment to promoting and exhibiting the work of emerging artists. The gallery provides a space for artists to showcase their work, engage with audiences, and participate in broader cultural discourse.
