We are proud and happy to announce a new addition to our premises in ITP Prizren as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Autostrada Biennale organization. We have recently signed a new 10-year contract for a new hangar expansion, devoted to the production needs of our young artistic and educational community.
 
The growth of Autostrada Biennale and Autostrada Hangar in recent years shows our commitment to strengthening the social and cultural future of Kosovo, along with our vision to place this commitment in an international artistic context. The second production hangar will follow the same practice of recycling and sustainability, just as the Autostrada Hangar was built with 50% recycled materials from the Autostrada Biennale’s previous editions.

The fourth edition of the Autostrada Biennale, selected as one of the 10 best exhibitions in Europe in 2023 by UK-based Frieze Magazine, produced a series of new works on site in Autostrada Hangar and set a new cultural perspective on the socio-economic development of the region with its distinctive impact.

Autostrada Biennale co-founders Leutrim Fishekqiu, Vatra Abrashi, and Barış Karamuço stated: "We are happy that Hangar II will address our community's needs by creating a new production studio, a media and communication studio, a multifunctional space, a residency space for artists, as well as a warehouse for the storage of artworks, which will be the first professionally cared arts warehouse in Kosovo. Thanks to this new hangar, we will have a larger physical and mental creative space for our future vision and inclusive programmes, making Autostrada Biennale a centre that continues to inspire, create, and promote art and culture with a newinnovative approach.".
 
Autostrada Biennale has received generous support and established partnerships with the Allianz Foundation, the Ministry of Culture in Kosovo, ITP Prizren and GIZ, Prizren Municipality, US Embassy in Prishtina, and many others.
