Dear friends and partners, we are pleased to invite you to the closing week of the 4th Autostrada Biennale, which will take place from September 2 to 9, 2023 in the three cities Prizren, Prishtina and Mitrovica.

The 4th edition of the Autostrada Biennale titled “All Images Will Disappear, One Day” is curated by Joanna Warsza and Övül Ö. Durmuşoğlu.

Of the thirty projects featured this year, seventeen are new commissions that respond to the local context and revolve around the themes of collective autobiographies, cultural archives, multidirectional memory, as well as hope and persistence.

Autostrada Biennale has taken significant steps to establish the Biennale as a sustainable public institution in Prizren, and the Autostrada Hangar has become a unique space for gathering and cultural education, the first of its kind in the city and surrounding region.

Over the past two months, we have strengthened this productive growth by developing a diverse public program, including artist talks, expert talks, guided tours, workshops for children, teens and adults, family days, and sunset gatherings for hot summer evenings.

The 4th edition of Autostrada Biennale is made possible with the generous support and partnership of many local and international organizations.

In addition, we are grateful for the valuable contribution of numerous individual working and conversational partners in Prishtina, Prizren and Mitrovica who have made this edition possible.

We look forward to celebrating together the closing of the 4th Autostrada Biennale.
