In a joint effort to promote the socio-economic and cultural development of Prizren, today a Collaboration Agreement was signed between Autostrada Biennale, the Municipality of Prizren, and the Allianz Foundation.

The project titled "Socio-Economic Development through Cultural Tourism and Expansion of Cultural Spaces" aims to harness Prizren's cultural richness to positively impact the development of cultural infrastructure and promote Prizren as a tourist and cultural destination at both local and international levels.

With its two cultural spaces and the recognition as one of the top 10 exhibitions in Europe, Autostrada Biennale has firmly placed Prizren on the international map of contemporary art. This success shows that Prizren is becoming a significant destination for contemporary art in the region and beyond.

The collaborations between Autostrada Biennale and the Municipality of Prizren has fostered the development of numerous educational and promotional programs, significantly impacting community development and promoting Prizren as a hub of cultural tourism.

Additionally, the institutional support from the Allianz Foundation has been important in the sustained growth and development of the Autostrada Biennale. This support has enabled the creation of a strong institutional base and paved the way for sustainable development.

Shaqir Totaj, Mayor of the Municipality of Prizren, stated: "This collaboration marks a significant milestone for the socio-economic and cultural advancement of our city. We are confident that this project will create new opportunities for our youth and reinforce Prizren's position as a cultural and tourist center."

Autostrada Biennale co-founders and directors Leutrim Fishekqiu, Vatra Abrashi, and Barış Karamuço stated: "We are excited about this collaboration with the Municipality of Prizren and the Allianz Foundation. The close partnership between Autostrada Biennale, the Municipality of Prizren, and the Allianz Foundation will contribute to the expansion of cultural spaces, the development of quality programs, the growth of cultural tourism, and the continuous promotion of Prizren on the international stage.
