We had the pleasure of welcoming the Van Abbemuseum Patrons and Defne Ayas, Director of the Van Abbemuseum, to Autostrada Hangar – Center for Contemporary Art.

A guided tour of our current exhibitions offered an opportunity to share the stories behind the works and the wider vision of Autostrada Hangar: a space where contemporary art, education, and production come together throughout the year. We introduced our work with young people and local communities, alongside our approach to upcycling, giving artworks and materials from previous editions of Autostrada Biennale new life.

Artists Driton Selmani and Renea Begolli also shared their work, bringing their perspectives into the conversation.

Food from our vegetarian kitchen and performances by Agona Shporta with Ilir Bajri, as well as Rina Foniqi, brought us together for an evening of art, music, and hospitality.
