The 6th edition of Autostrada Biennale is taking shape through visits, conversations, and research in Prizren and across Kosovo. Curated by Lucia Pietroiusti, with Danai Giannoglou as Associate Curator, the edition will take place from 11 July to 11 September 2027.

Together with the Autostrada Biennale team, founding directors Leutrim Fishekqiu, Vatra Abrashi, and Barış Karamuço have welcomed some of the artists involved in the research visits for the 2027 edition: Mercedes Azpilicueta, Jurga Daubaraitė and Jonas Žukauskas, Nicole L’Huillier, Lina Lapelytė, Ana Morina, Driton Selmani, Ela Spalding and Rain Wu.

The Curatorial Research Programme gives curators and artists time to explore potential sites and connect with local artists, makers, partners, and communities. These encounters bring different perspectives into the research, allowing ideas to develop in dialogue with the people, histories, materials, and everyday practices of the places where the Biennale will unfold.

These photographs capture moments from an ongoing process of discovery, dialogue, and exchange that is shaping the 6th Autostrada Biennale.
