ITP is located in a former KFOR (Kosovo Force) camp. The camp has been in use for military purposes since Ottoman times. During the Kosovo War, the German Bundeswehr used the camp as a base. With the declaration of Kosovo’s independence in 2008, KFOR troops were gradually withdrawn from the camp, and since 2018 the camp has been rehabilitated into facilities for innovation, learning, and skills development. ITP is a unique project in the region; it fosters collaboration, aiming to become the regional hub for entrepreneurship innovation and business and skills development. Autostrada Biennale is the first organization that has transformed one of the hangars into a cultural space.
